Value Delivered
USM upgraded the restrooms for a nationwide chain of home furnishings retail stores. Our team made a number of renovations focused on promoting high standards of quality, improving efficiency, and cutting costs— all while taking measures to minimize the impact on the client’s regular business.
Client Objectives
The retailer wanted to upgrade existing restrooms without disrupting the in-store customer experience.
Solutions
We worked with the client to assess their existing restrooms, recommend improvements, and make changes per their specifications. Our recommendations and renovations included:
- Replacing outdated manual faucets with environmentally friendly metered faucets, helping reduce water consumption and related energy costs
- Introducing a new floor sealer to achieve a “like-new” appearance while providing additional floor protection and reducing maintenance costs
- Product also met ASTM standards for slip co-efficiency, helping reduce hazards
All renovations were scheduled after hours. This meant that our team was able to complete them with virtually no disruptions to regular store operations and, in turn, no lost revenue for the client.
